Kenya political arena is rocked by violence, bloodshed, and anarchy. Since the election of the current president according to sources like CNN and other media, the Government has failed to deliver the promises of greener pastures after the election and office takeover. The country has experience a wave of clashes with police and it's citizens during demonstrations that resulted in loss of lives, destruction of property followed by an economic recession. Price of commodities has gone up where consumers demanded lower prices of basic commodities, gas, food ,etc. As people took to the streets, the government leadership has spiraled out of control and is left to grapple with angry marches almost every so often and seems to be the new normal.
Meanwhile as the country is plunged into chaos is the capital and other cities, there has been an increase in crime, raids, theft, killings and murder in different parts of country where there is no security. According to the US travel advisory currently the country is not among the safest place to travel.
